Babolat Technical Viper Soft 3.0 2026
Pairs well with
The Viper line is the one Babolat build around Juan Lebrón, and the Soft is the version made liveable for the rest of us. Same diamond head and same 365 g as the full-blooded Viper, but with Soft Carbon faces instead of the rigid weave — it hits heavy without the jarring feedback that puts people off a pro-level frame.
The Black EVA core is the elastic one in Babolat's range, so the ball sits on the face a fraction longer and comes off with more of your swing in it. Add the Dynamic Stability System bracing the throat and the 3D Spin+ surface, and you get a racket that attacks properly but will still be comfortable in the third set.

Buy this if you want the Lebrón racket's attacking character but your arm has told you, more than once, that a stiff diamond is a bad idea. It's still a diamond — if you want forgiveness rather than comfort, go round with the Counter Veron 2.6.
Not sure which shape?
Round: sweet spot in the middle, most forgiving. Teardrop: the middle ground, suits most club players. Diamond: sweet spot high, maximum power, least forgiving.
