Nox Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 by Agustín Tapia
Pairs well with
The Genius mould in 12K rather than 18K. Teardrop head, 360–375 g, 38 mm — a touch more give in the face than the 18K, and the one most advanced players will actually get more out of.
The face is 12K Alum XTREM carbon, woven in a rectangular pattern that cuts fibre waviness by about half compared with conventional carbon. Less waviness means the surface flexes more evenly, so the ball comes off where you aimed it. The aluminised finish adds stiffness and keeps the response stable as the court temperature moves. Under it, the MLD Black EVA core gives you power on the attack and holds the ball on slower shots.
The VCS anti-vibration system is the headline change for 2027 — Nox measure a 60% reduction in the vibration peaks reaching the elbow and shoulder. Dual Spin (3D relief over a sand coat) sharpens the bite on the ball, and Weight Balance lets you add up to 8 g of counterweights to tune the balance yourself.

Buy this if you want the Genius frame without the firmest face in the range — this is the all-round pick of the family. For maximum solidity go 18K Alum; for the same face in a diamond built to smash, go Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem.
Not sure which shape?
Round: sweet spot in the middle, most forgiving. Teardrop: the middle ground, suits most club players. Diamond: sweet spot high, maximum power, least forgiving.
Shipping, returns and care
Free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $100. 30-day returns on unused items in original condition. Fit protector tape before first use and keep the frame out of a hot car — heat damages padel rackets far more often than impact does. Covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty against defects.
