Nox Genius Attack 18K Alum 2027 by Agustín Tapia
Pairs well with
The same 2027 Genius materials as Tapia's standard frame, with the mass pushed up and forward. Diamond head, high balance, 360–375 g. This one exists to finish points.
The 18K Alum carbon face gives a solid, precise ball that behaves the same in the cold as in the heat, and the MLD Black EVA core switches between explosive on the smash and controlled on the slower shots. What changes the feel most is the Oversize Grip: 30 mm of extra handle, which makes two-handed backhands easier and shifts more weight toward the head, so the racket carries more inertia into a smash.
New for 2027: the VCS anti-vibration system cuts vibration into the arm by around 60% against the previous generation, and the EOS Tunnel cleans up the airflow through the throat so a head-heavy frame still moves. Weight Balance takes up to 8 g of counterweights if you want it heavier still.
Be honest about the trade. A diamond head puts the sweet spot high and makes it small. It pays you in ball speed and charges you for every late swing.

Buy this if you play at the net, your smash is already reliable, and you want more out of it. If you want the same build but forgiving enough to play the whole court with, take the Genius 18K Alum in teardrop.
Not sure which shape?
Round: sweet spot in the middle, most forgiving. Teardrop: the middle ground, suits most club players. Diamond: sweet spot high, maximum power, least forgiving.
